The Charlotte American Marketing Association brought Nicole Warshauer from Yelp to speak to the group about how to go beyond customer reviews to help local businesses manage their brands online. Anything with an address can be Yelp’d. And people are looking for something there right before they buy. Yelp has 25+ million reviews internationally and 66 million monthly unique visitors. The majority of the users are affluent educated adults between the ages of 24 and 45. Yelp.comuse heavy during week, mobile higher on weekends. And every second a call is made to a business from the Yelp app to a business. So your audience is there. So how can businesses use Yelp?

- Use Yelp Deals, similar to other social coupons like Groupon and Living Social
